Windows 10: When Reading My Messages Using The Mail & Calendar App. Why Do I Have To View The Link...

Hi,

One of the features I don't like when I'm using the actual mail & calendar app in windows 10 is the fact that in the current message That I'm wanting to read if I move my mouse pointer over certain areas of the message a popup box shows up that contains the link information within the message I'm currently reading. While I'm using the outlook mail online version that link information isn't shown. I really don't wish to see the link popup box while using the mail & calendar app but I don't know how to prevent it from being shown. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to prevent this ?

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
