When resetting Windows 10, get a message "Your PIN is no longer available...", whether TPM is cleared or not. I'm stuck trying to reset Win10 and delete all files. Steps followed were: 1 started Win10 reset. 2 at 8% complete, got message asking whether to clear TPM. I've tried it both ways and gotten same PIN problem.3 Get a message: "Your PIN is no longer available due to change in security settings on this device."Any suggestions to complete a reset and disk clean are appreciated.

After resetting my windows 10 pc (Dell Latitude 3190) I receive the message "Your PIN is no longer available due to a change to the security settings on this device." I cannot enter Safe Mode either. During the Reset I was asked something about the TPM? and I selected to allow the change/erase. I've tried multiple solutions listed in this forum to no avail. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you considered Option 2 here e.g. Reset Password of User Account in Windows 10 Before you ask, yes I know you can't log in- so you need to click on the second piece of blue text in the tutorial as shown here:

Unfrotunately, despite hours of reading forum posts and Google results, I never found a solution that enabled me to login with my password to gain access to Windows. I had to do a fresh reinstall fo Windows 10. Before I did this, I disabled TPM in BIOS to prevent this happening again.
