Windows 10: When running Link to Windows, sounds generated by apps on my phone stay on my phone and are...

I am running the Phone Link app on my Windows 10 laptop with a connection to my Galaxy A50 phone running Android 11.Everything works wonderfully well except that, save for phone calls, all sounds generated by apps on my phone, stay on my phone and cannot be heard on my laptop.I can make and receive phone calls with sound on my laptop perfectly.Is that the way sounds via the Phone Link app are supposed to work ? The sounds stay on the phone and can't be heard on the pc.If not, might I ask for ideas as to what I might do to get the sounds to be heard on my laptop?I didn't think I would like th

TechPowerUp App with Windows 8.1 Phone?

Is there any chance of an official TechPowerUp App for Windows 8.1 Phone like Android? I miss having one for my phone now that I have a Windows Phone now. Instead of having to pin the site to my main menu.

Or do you @W1zzard have any objections if a TPU user wanted to make one, if you decide not too?

 

Your Phone App - Link to Windows not working

Has anyone found the secret to getting the Your Phone - Link to Windows App working correctly?
Looking at the number of posts in other forums saying they have problems there is clearly a major issue with this App. It's a pity because it used to work quite well before recent Windows updates.
Basically my phone (Samsung A515) will connect to Your Phone on my PC and I can see the headers of Notifications on my PC. If I try to read Messages or access Photos or open Desktop Apps it says I need permissions and asks me to click on a link to send a permission request to my phone. It never arrives. I don't see any permission request. Also it doesn't say what permissions are missing nor how to enable them.
The response from MS is always to ensure that your phone and PC Apps are at the latest version (they are). I suspect there is a major bug in this App, yet others seem to suggest that it does work. Hopelessly confused.
