Windows 10: When saving a file after editing it in the Photos app, it doesn't save in the folder which...

it saves in whatever folder i had open last, for example if i opened a file from "xyz" and opened a file from "zyx" and trimmed it, it would try saving in "xyz" instead i used photos to trim videos on windows 10 and it would save in the folder of wherever i opened the file from, again for example if i opened a file in the folder "xyz" it would save in "xyz" no matter where it was saved lastim sorry if i explained ppoorly

If you are using Outlook email, let’s try simple steps and check if it helps. Try the below steps provided.

Step 1.

If you want to save only the attached file from the email, try the below step.

• 
  Right click on the attached file and click on Save as.
  
• 
  Now select a folder location where you want to save the attached file.
  

Step 2.

If you want to save the file along with the email try the below steps provided.

• 
  Open the mail you want to save and click on File on the top of the right side.

  Click on Save As and select a folder location where you want to save the email.

Windows 10 Photos App "Saved Pictures" Folder - After Editing How to Keep Edited Photos in the Same Folder?

Hi!

New Windows 10 user here.

Using the new Photos App: after editing a photo I click the "save a copy" icon, and the app automatically saves the edited photo in a new "Saved Pictures" folder. I'd like the app to save the edited photo in the same folder. I don't see a way to change this
option in settings. It's very time-consuming to leave the folder I'm working in, go to Saved Pictures, and move the photo back.

Does anyone know how to keep the edited photo saved in the original folder? As the app originally did in Windows 8?

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm opening up an attachment from a google account. When I right click I don't have the 'save as' option also I did not have that option when I checked the 'file' either...

Please advise.
