Windows 10: When saving a png from the web my only option is saving as an avif. I want to save it as a png.

Recently all the images I've been saving were saved as an "AFIV" file. I don't know why it's not saving as a png or a jpg and it has gotten in the way of me being able to upload images into my editing program so I was hoping to fix it and change it back which is why I am asking how to stop it from doing this.I have gone into and changed my extension to open in a windows photo viewer but when I try to download a logo from our website I right click and save as..my only option is an avif file. It never used to do this. We save logos to our website as a png so I don't know why it is now saving a

• When you say that "1 suggestion was ctrl s the n ctrl a", how exactly have you tried to used the keyboard command for saving the webpages?
  

I suggest you to follow the steps to save the webpage on the computer and check if it helps.

1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser.

2. Right click on the webpage link and then click on Save target as
and then save the webpage.

Need software for saving web pictures

then I think your best option is save the web as a html file. Or right click on the picture(s) you want and do a save as or save picture and send it/them to the folder of your choice. Cnet.com may have a free to try or freeware software, I just know adobe does it the best when it come to saving the whole web page as a pdf for later viewing .

the command " save target as " does not appear anywhere on my screen

I get very very slow page movement nd a whirring icon on screen

I think it might be good idea to uninstall and rinstall eplorer .. I also run google chrome on my pc , could this be a problem if explorer is reinstalled ? altern . explanation is poor broadband connexion but service proveder have told me that signal is
good.
