  1. When saving an email as a quick access file, it will auto save as the last email sent...

In the past I've been able to create an email, insert the template body, subject line, and even the recipient email addresses, and save it as a quick access email. That way any time I need to send out that specific email template, I can just click on it in quick access and it would bring up my saved email. I am on a new system and I saved my first email template like I usually do and its there ready to be selected. The issue is, it is not keeping the save. After each time I use it and send out the email, the template auto saves to the last email sent out. I'm not resaving this each time.

    :)

    Saving sent emails

In Windows 10 email, when I send an email in an email account other than Outlook, the sent email cannot be found in the "sent mail" folder for that email account. The emails sent via Outlook are saved, but I need the sent emails from the other account
    saved as well.

    Saving sent emails

I received an email from Microsoft stating that changes would be made to my outlook account, and I wouldn't be able to receive my outlook emails in the Windows Live 2011 (not Windows Live Essentials 2011, unless they are the same.) that I currently use.

Microsoft suggested switching to the Windows 10 email that is accessed via the tiles from the Start menu. I logged in using my outlook email account, so I receive emails there just fine.

But, I also added the Comcast email--the other email account to which I was referring-- to the Windows 10 email. I can send the emails okay, but the system does not save the Comcast "sent" emails. When I open the "sent" folder, I get a sign stating
that there are no files, but the emails do get sent.

However, I did restart the computer as you suggested, and I do seem to be getting the sent emails, but they don't show up right away. I have to wait on them. Still, that is an improvement.

The Microsoft email also suggested that Windows Live Mail 2012 users could install an update to continue sending and receiving outlook email in that account.

Can I use that update, even though I have Windows Live 2011?

If not, perhaps the problem has been solved by the restart. I would prefer a way to get the sent emails in the Comcast account to show up right away, but maybe that will happen as time goes by.

Please respond and let me know if downloading the update for 2012 will work for me even though I have the 2011 version.

SENT EMAILS NOT BEING SAVED IN SENT FOLDER

PLEASE HELP! I have Windows 10 and I use Windows Mail. I can send emails but the emails I send are not being saved in my sent folder. My internet service provider has confirmed that the problem is not with the server but with your Mail application. I spoke
with one of your customer service agents and was advised that in order to enable the Save copies of messages in the Sent Items folder, I must do the following: In Outlook 2010 or later versions: Click File, click Options and in Options, click Mail. Under the
Save messages section, enable the Save copies of messages in the Sent Items folder option. Click OK. Problem. When I follow your steps and go into Mail, there is not a Save messages section. I want to enable save sent emails and it should not be this difficult
    and time consuming.
