Windows 10: When screen turns off after the amount of time set in power settings, computer goes into...

Screen is set to turn off after 3 minutes, laptop is set to go to sleep/standby after 5 both battery and charging, but no matter what the laptop goes directly to sleep after 3 minutes.I deactivated Modern Standby and Connected Standby, Windows is freshly installed and drivers are up to date.What else i can do? Is there a solution?

But you did not look at that tutorial's list of related tutorials for all the other
Add or Remove ... from Power Options - TenForumsTutorials
ones. That's what I suggested. The link to that particular tutorial was just a way in to the set of them.



And you'll find even more of the set by searching the list of tutorials.

screen saver/power settings

I have tried every suggestion listed in this forum to set my screen to not go off every minute and require me to wait for a re-start of the screen. All power settings are adjusted to 'never' and the screen saver is set to 'on' and wait times of over 40
minutes. I am going to return this computer because of this problem as work can not be done.

Any thoughts???

 

Screen goes blank after changing BIOS settings/

I don't know how long this has been happening, a few weeks at least, but whenever I change a setting in my BIOS (and save & exit), my screen goes blank and my monitor goes into standby. Any suggestions to fix this?
