  1. When should I use hardware drivers as opposed to system drivers?

I’m new to Windows os, used iOS for 9 years. And I see in my device manager that there’s HID-Mouse drivers (2 total with the same name) which I’m guessing is one for each of the USB ports on my laptop.

I’ve been trying to turn off mouse acceleration completely (there’s still a little with enhanced pointer precision turned off) but before I download some software that will change that I want to know if I should just download the specific drivers for my Logitech mouse and see if I can change it in those settings first.

My main question is when are system drivers more appropriate to use than hardware specific drivers?

I’m using an ASUS-TUF505DY gaming laptop

  4. When should I use hardware drivers as opposed to system drivers?

    hardware and drivers

Hi there YesZA, I will be your Independent Advisor for today, I hope we can both resolve your problem.

Do you have any physical Bluetooth switch at the side of your laptop?

Please have the Bluetooth driver completely removed.

Here the steps to completely remove a Device off your computer.

Step 1. Use shortcut keys Win + X on Windows 10.

    Step 2. Select Device Manager.

Step 3. Expand the entry Network Adapters. Right-click the problematic device and select Uninstall device.

Step 4. You may need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button.

    Step 5. Reboot the computer.

If that didn't work go back to the Device manager, right click the Bluetooth driver and click on Update driver then Browse for Drivers on your Computer then Let me pick from a list then click Next. Tick the box to show compatible Hardware then next until its
    done. Then reboot.

If that didn't work again, visit the support website of your laptop then download and install the latest driver for the Bluetooth.
