Windows 10: when shut down the laptop, i touch the lid and turns on again.

when i turn open my laptop windows 11 and i try close the lid , then the laptop turns on again . i have try to reset it from terminal admin , i have try to changhe the setting from control panel, i have downloaded new features and updates for bios. Nothing change . do you have an idea why that happens and how i can solve this issue?

Laptop half turns off when lid is shut

I'm afraid the issue mentioned in the link you provided is far different from the one I am dealing with. In said link, the person asking the question wants their computer to stay on even after the lid is shut, and the only "answer" is quite irrelevant, since
I have never touched my power settings.

My issue is that my laptop doesn't turn off (or sleep, i think) when I close the lid 100% of the time. Its an often occurrence for my laptop to have its lid closed, all the while it is still running as if it were open. Even worse, the screen "turns off"
and the only way to "turn the computer back on" (even though it is still running) is to hold the power button and do a full restart, which can take from 5-10 mins (that includes re opening chrome, and other applications). When the class is about to take an
online quiz, I can not wait this long.

To clarify: When my pc is up and running, the power button displays a solid light. When the lid of my pc is closed and my computer is off, the power button displays a flashing light. HOWEVER, when the problem occurs the lid is shut, the screen is dark, and
the power button displays a solid light.

Laptop does not shutdown when i click shutdown and close the lid, it sleeps instead.

This scenario happens when your Power Options is misconfigured. For us to have this isolated, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click on Start.
• Select Settings.
• Click on System.
• Select Power & sleep tab.
• On the right side, click on Additional power settings.
• On the left pane, select Choose what closing the lid does.
• Under Power button and lid settings, click the drop down next to
  When I close the lid.
• Select Shut down.
• Click on Save changes button.
• When you’re ready to make your PC shut down, close your laptop's lid.
  

Note: Every time that you will close the lid, your laptop will automatically shut down.
