Windows 10: when starting my pc, sysmain uses my cpu's power up to 20 percent but it decreases to 0...

I have i7 as my cpu and i heard disabling sysmain could cause issues.

Hi Carlo, thanks for the response! So to be clear, all this is normal behaviour for SysMain? It’s all normal for it to use around 10-20% CPU every few minutes even when nothing is open? Sorry I just want to be clear.

SysMain getting worse- using more and more CPU without stopping

Since my post last week, SysMain has gotten worse. Now, whenever my computer is on, SysMain will constantly eat CPU without stopping whatsoever. I know this isn’t normal.

I get that the ‘best solution’ is to turn it off but I feel like doing that could either break my Windows installation or significantly decrease my PC’s performance.

This is driving me insane.

What do I do?? Turning it off could make things worse but what other options do I have??
