Windows 10: When the profile of the firewall is Private and Public it's not listing in Member servers...

Hi Experts, We are applying firewall rules via GPO, When the profile of the firewall is Private and Public its not listing in Member servers. Only the domain profile and All profile firewall are listing in the member servers. Also I have already made the required changes by “No” with “Apply local firewall rules” will make sure that local firewall rules are not applied. I have made this settings for all the 3 profiles Domain, Private and Public. Still Private and Public profile firewall are not listing in Member servers. Changing wifi settings from public to private

I have seen the same question being asked with the same answer that apparently does not exist: I want to change my WiFi connection from public to private. The suggestion I keep seeing is:

1. On the right side of the taskbar, select the Wi-Fi network icon.
2. Under the name of the Wi-Fi network that you’re connected to, select
   Properties.
3. Under Network profile, select Public or
   Private.

Well I am running WIndows Home version 1903 and there is no link called
Network profile where I can select between Public or
Private.

 

Change Network from Public to Private

I suggest you to follow the steps below to
change your network from Public to Private:

• 
  Type PowerShell in Search Window and then right click on it and click on
  Run as Administrator.
  
• 
  Type the following command to find your interface Index:
  Get-NetConnectionProfile
  
• 
  Use your interface index (for example 5) with this command:
  Set-NetConnectionProfile -InterfaceIndex 5 -NetworkCategory Private
  
• 
  Now reboot the device and check if the network has changed from Public to Private.

Windows Defender Firewall + Windows FTP Server

Why is windows defender firewall disobeying my firewall rules?

• Enabled Windows FTP Servers via Windows 10 Features.
• Rules are in the firewall allowing FTP access for both passive & control (rules were injected through enabling the service).
• FTP packets are dropped by the firewall still (confirmed in the logs) but no rule is given, just "DROP".
• This is over a VPN that is being detected as "Unidentified Network" thus putting the interfaces in the "Public" zone.
• FTP rules apply to all three zones (Public, Private, and Domain).
• Turning off Windows Defender Firewall for the specific zone allows the FTP transaction.
• There are no rules denying this traffic in the list.
