    Hi,

I would like that the custom printer driver of the manufacture is installed when being installed with WSD in Windows 10, Printer & Scanner. Currently, the Microsoft IPP Class Driver is installed for machine. If the user print with the Microsoft IPP Class Driver, then the the output is printed with the garbage data.

My goal is that the custom printer driver is installed in WSD method.Currently, the Microsoft IPP Class Driver is installed. For this, I would like to know how to do? For this, do I process the additional work in the hardware submission like "New Shipping labels" or distribution policy?

Please check this and let me know.

    :)

  2. Printer not printing after installing the device on the PC on Windows 10.

    Hi Yitzchak,

I suggest you to uninstall and re-install the printer as a work around and check if it helps.

    Step 1: Uninstall the printer:

    • Press “Windows + X” keys on the keyboard.

    • Click on “Device Manager” from that list.

    • Search for the “Printer” device from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for
      this device
” you may select that and then remove its drivers from the computer.

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and the restart the computer if prompted.

You may also uninstall any related software provided by the printer manufacturer from the computer from “Programs and Features”. For this, you may follow these steps:

    • Press “Windows + X” keys on the keyboard and select “Programs and Features” from that list.

    • Search for any software provided by the printer manufacturer in the program list and if available, you may select it and click on “Uninstall” to remove it from the computer.

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and the restart the computer if prompted.

    Step 2: Install a Printer

Refer to the below link about: Install a printer

    Hope this helps.

  3. Epson Printer Driver - XP driver installed on 10 - device not showing as printer

I inherited an Epson Stylus Pro9600(~2003) and would like to get it working for a local non-profit.

    • I downloaded the last driver available from the epson site. It was for Windows XP (64-bit)
Epson Stylus Pro 9600 - UltraChrome Ink | Epson Stylus Pro Series | Professional Imaging Printers | Printers | Support | Epson US

    • Ran setup in "compatibility" mode for running the older driver and it said the driver was installed correctly.
    • Try to print and the new printer is not available to print from.
    • Checking in the control panel>hardware> "Devices and Printers" the Epson (showing as 'usb2.0 printer') is in the "unspecified Devices" section rather than the "printers" one.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Printer driver unavailable after printer install in windows 10

    Hi,

I would suggest reinstalling the printer's legacy drivers.

Here are the complete steps to do so,

    1. Press Windows+R and type in control printers

    2. Right click the printer with the issue and choose properties

    3. Go to the web services tab, save and copy the IP address under troubleshooting information as a reference to the printer's IP address

    4. Close the window and right click the same printer

    5. Choose to remove device

    6. Go to start/search and type in hdwwiz.exe and open the application

    7. Choose the option "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list

    8. Locate printer and choose next

    9. Choose to create a new port and choose standard tcp/ip port

    10. On the hostname type in the IP address from the printer that you've saved from step 3

    11. Choose the option "Replace the current driver"

    12. Choose printer name

    13. Choose the option "Share this printer so that others on your network can find and use it.
