Windows 10: When transfering from CFexpress type B card, transfer stops then starts again, then stops....

I recently got a new camera, with it required a new type of memory card a CFExpress type B card. This card also needs a new card reader. So I bought some: 2x SanDisk 64gb CFExpress type B extreme pro, Lexar USB c CFExpress type B card reader RW510. When I try to transfer my files from the card to my laptop it will stop almost immediately and hang at 0 transfer speed for 1-4 minutes, then it will continue for 2 seconds and stop again. This cycle does not end. It happens whether laptop is plugged in or not. I'm so lost on what to do please help. LAPTOP: MSI Vector 16 HX A14VCPU: i9 14900hxRAM: 3

CFexpress Type B Card Readers not recognized on Windows 10 PC

Sometime in the last month, my Windows 10 PC has changed. I didn't install any new programs. When I insert my Sony MRW-G1 CFexpress Type B Card Reader, the drive letter isn't displayed on Windows explorer, so I can no longer access the card. I also have a ProGrade Digital CFexpress Type B and UHS-II SDXC Dual-Slot USB 3.1 Card Reader. The SD Card slot does appear on explorer, but not the CFexpress Card slot. Both of the card readers do work on a different windows 10 PC that I own. Looking at the drivers that the PCs use, the versions of the drivers are different. Both PCs have current Windows 10 updates installed. I contacted Sony and they suggested I call MS. I called MS and an agent took control of my PC and rebooted my PC, after which I could no longer see what was going on. Several hours later, I was able to log into my PC, but it still doesn't work. I have googled for hours and can't find drivers, or a resolution to the issue, but see a number of other people having a similar issue. Has anyone found a resolution for this issue?

Update - the drivers that are used on the bad PC were updated on 10/29 (disk.sys, EhStorClass.sys, partmgr.sys) along with a lot of other drivers. I checked windows update history and there was one windows update run on 10/29 -

2023-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5031445)

On the good PC, those files are older versions and that update was never applied. I tried uninstalling it, but the option wasn't available. So, I have no options at this point.

Windows 11 does not recognize CFExpress Type B/XQD card reader

Hello Support Team,

Windows 11 Home does not detect my CFExpress Type B/XQD card reader, it is brand now, so, I do not know if the reader was detected before any Windows update.

I tested the reader in another computer with Windows 11 Pro and it works fine.

Please help me solve this issue.

Why have I been stopped from transferring apps to my SD card

It has been my practice for several years to transfer apps from my C Drive to my D drive, an integral SD Card, by checking out which ones can be transferred in Settings. Many can, others cannot me moved. Now I have suddenly started to get the notification below. What has 'having been from a different device' to do with it? I certainly do not want to remove files from the SD Card. What can I do about this?
