  3. File Explorer Share via Email

In order for the Send To mail functions to work, you’ll need to have a desktop mail client with simple-MAPI or MAPI support, like Microsoft Office Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail (part of Windows Essentials 2012), or Mailbird installed in
    the system.

If you already have one installed and still doesn't work, then check your mail client defaults. Error
"There is no email program associated to perform the requested action" When Sending File To Mail

Unfortunately, the Send To mail feature won’t work with web-based mails and metro or modern apps.

    File Explorer Share via Email

    Ramesh,

I am not using "web-based" mail. I am using the default windows 10 mail app. It is simply called "Mail". Is this app not incorporated into file explorer?? It is integrated in every other part of windows. I even get previews of my emails from the start
    menu.
