Windows 10: When trying to update it gives me Error Code 0x800f020b

I get the following message while updating in Win 10. I don't know why the update doesn't install automaticallyThere were some problems installing the updates, but we will try again later. Windows Update 0x800f020b Error


When I run Windows Update on Windows 10 (ver 1511), I get the following error:

Hewlett-Packard - Imaging - Null Print - HP Deskjet 3520 series - Error 0x800f020b

I looked up the 0x800f020b error code and it says this occurs when an attempt is made to update drivers for a device that isn't connected. In my particular case, this device is connected via the wireless network and appears in my list of available Printers.

How do I get rid of this error?

Try a clean startup:

Launch System Configuratiion (msconfig)

on the Services tab:

Hide all Microsoft servicesPress the [Disable all] button

on the Startup tab: Press Open Task Manager
Disable all items listed
Close Task Manager
Press [Ok] on the System Configuration window

Restart your machine
Try a manual Windows Update from Settings -> Update and Recovery (not Control Panel)

The issue might be HW related.

A few other suggested fixes were to run wsreset

This might have more affect (works on Win10, not just Win8.x)
Store - Re-register in Windows 8 and 8.1

Try all three and test an update.

 

Error code 0x8018830f when trying to update Lumia 730

Hi Dennis,

Still I am facing the same issue, have been trying to update again and again, gives me the same error code everytime.

I am trying to update on a working wi-fi connection, the update downloads fine, but while trying to install it gives the error.

I don't understand what troubleshooting steps could be done.

Please suggest a solution.
