  2. MS print to pdf fails from firefox, works from edge and test page

    Indeed!
I never noticed it or tried it, because I've always used Adobe Acrobat.
That "printer" is the first PDF printer to appear on the list, so I never scrolled down to see the "MS print to PDF" option.

Thanks for the tip and the correction. When using any windows native app - or even many 3rd party the ms print to pdf driver shows... :)

  3. When will 3rd Party apps for WP7 be developped ? (SDK for native apps)

Actually that isn't what native means. It refers to code running in the referenced environment, or OS being used, as opposed to running in some package like Java apps run in a Java Runtime Environment, or running something in an emulator that runs within the
base environment. I believe technically the third party apps aren't native as they aren't running in the CE kernal that underlays Windows Phone. The third party apps are written to run in Silverlight and XNA, AFAIK.

I think you are confused with 'native'. Native means, the app is implemented into the OS and not by a 3rd party. I believe you are referring to developers making 3rd party apps. At it stands, Microsoft has limited access to some OS programming due to
security and stability issues. Some 3rd party developers, OEMs and mobile operators have been granted permissions that others have not, but this may soon, not be the case. Seems like every month Microsoft is giving more and more to 3rd party developers.
