Windows 10: When using bluetooth audio microphone, BT audio distorted.

Hi there.I have some BT devices: Poly 5200, Jabra Evolve2 65, New Bee M50Laptop is HP EliteBook 845 G8 NotebookBT audio works perfectly until the microphone is requested by some application. For example a meeting in teams or windows sound recording settings. When that applications stop using the microphone, the sound stops being distorted and works well again. If I mute the microphone the sound keeps being distorted. If I tell teams to use computer speakers, it works perfectly I can use the headphone microphone but not the speakers.This is the windows sound recording settings that produce th

audio distortion on Icon

My Icon has distorted audio when voice mails are played and phone is on speaker. Volume is 20/30. Any suggestions?

 

Microphone treated as line-in is heavily distorted

I want to mix the audio output of a console with the audio on Windows so that I can play games and watch videos/talk via VOIP programs while also hearing the game audio. To do this, I have bought a HDMI-repeater that extracts audio to RCA and an additional soundcard. The RCA output is converted to a regular 3.5mm audio jack that's plugged into the soundcard's microphone input. In Windows, I've set it to listen to this device.

This setup works, but the audio from the device is heavily distorted, even with microphone boost disabled. Feeding the RCA into a pair of headphones directly yields the expected audio, so there is no problem with the repeater.

Does Windows treat microphone input in some specific way that result in these distortions, and can they be disabled? The audio card I use is an ASUS Xonar DGX, and aside from changing the input volume (distorted on all volume levels) and toggling microphone boost, I can't seem to improve the audio.

i used to have a bluetooth adapter (ASUS 4.0 Bluetooth Adapter) that made it to where my sony headphones didnt have distorted audio at higher volumes. but with this new bluetooth adapter (TP Link 4.0 Bluetooth Adapter), there's distortion. ive tried following a couple of youtube videos without success. this is the PC I use if it's of any use to u: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06693646. if u need any more info, lmk!
