Windows 10: When using MS Designer Compact Keyboard, bluetooth is not switching properly.

* This inquiry is regarding Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard. I guess this issue is due to the hardward problem *Out of Bluetooth channels 1, 2, and 3, only channel 3 is working. Channels 1 and 2 cannot connect.When I press the Bluetooth button, channel 3 starts blinking, and only devices like my iPhone or MacBook can recognize and connect to it. However, even channel 3 does not appear as a device on my Windows 11 laptop.As suggested online, I tried pressing the Function + Bluetooth key. While this temporarily switches to channels 1 or 2, they blink once and then quickly revert back to chan

Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard Not Reconnecting

I'm having an issue with a Bluetooth Microsoft Compact keyboard connecting to a new HP Zbook Laptop. Have owned the keyboard for 6 months or so, used it with multiple devices without issue but it will not stay connect to this laptop. I can pair and connect to the keyboard initially but if I power off the keyboard, computer switch the bluetooth profile etc on the keyboard it will not reconnect automatically.

-I've checked the permissions to power this device off are unchecked in device manager

-All drivers for keyboard, bluetooth and laptop are up to date

-I've taken the batteries out of the keyboard and replaced them

I can see the keyboard in the list of bluetooth devices but when manually clicked its not able to reconnect. Laptop is working as normal with other bluetooth devices.

Microsoft designer compact keyboard no connected

I have Designer Compact Keyboard which works fine on Linux system on the same machine. However, on windows 11 it pairs and works fine the first time but when doing system reboot, it just pairs but doesn't connect. I also have Microsoft ergonomic mouse which works fine after reboot. I looked around and tried multiple solutions but with no luck. Now, when I go to settings>Bluetooth & devices> Designer Compact Keyboard it says Paired only.

 

Bluetooth connection problem with Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard

I recently bought the Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard, it pairs to my Win10 laptop but doesn't connect and doesn't work. Unpairing, re-pairing, updating all the drivers, and restarting BT services didn't solve the problem. The keyboard connects and works fine with other laptops, other BT devices connect and work properly with my laptop.
