Windows 10: When using Voice Access, the settings won't stay activated

When I activate Voice Access by hitting the Windows Key + H, then hit the gear icon to activate the Voice Typing launcher and the Automatic punctuation settings. They immediately turn off the moment I close the settings menu. Sometimes they'll stay activated and others they won't. Sometimes it'll get fancy and the Voice typing launcher will stay activated but automatic punctuation won't stay on. Is there a way for me to save my settings that I'm not aware of? I tried using a different mouse in case I was double clicking the switch as well and that didn't seem to fix the issue either. Any help

Store Settings "Update apps automatically" won`t stay switched off. WHY?

In Settings in Store I set "Update apps automatically" to Off.

When I go back in again it`s set back to On. Why won`t it stay switched Off?

How do I get this stupid **** to DO WHAT I TELL IT and SWITCH OFF?

What`s the point of having a Setting that you can`t Set?

 

cortana won`t talk to me

Method 1:

I suggest you to try to turn Cortana off and then try turning it on back and check if she talks. Refer to the steps below to turn Off and On Cortana:

• Open Cortana.
• Click the hamburger button in the top left of the window.
• Go to Settings and click on off.
• Follow the same steps to turn it on.
• Check if issue persists.

Store Settings "Update apps automatically" won`t stay switched off. WHY?

The possible reason why Update apps automatically turn back on is that the Store app is running in the background. We suggest that you turn off the Store app. This way, it won't receive any updates or send notifications unless opened or turned on
manually.

To turn off Store app, follow these steps:

• Click the Windows logo, then go to Settings.
• Click Privacy, then Background apps.
  
• On the list, locate Store and toggle it off.
