    I open Picture files on my laptop, choose a photo. Want to forward it to another computer or mobile device, but when click on Share, all I get is a red screen with the Microsoft Edge icon/logo. How can actually send photos to someone?

    Photo App in Windows 10 - When Sharing a Photo, Recipient does Not recieve the Inserted Photo

    When I open the Windows 10 Photo App and find a picture (or Pictures), I want to share, I am having difficulties sharing it.

    When I highlight the photo and then click the Share Icon, and then enter the persons email address I want to send to, the
    Photo IS inserted into the Email...

    BUT, when I click "Send", the email the recipient receives is the complete email,With NO Photo....!!!

    I have created three different email accounts to test and each have the same behavior, so it is not the email accounts. It is definitely the Windows 10 Photo App that is causing this..

    Summary - 1.

    I Share a Photo - the Photo is Inserted into the email.

    2. I send the email

    3. The recipient receives the email, MINUS the Photo (The photo is Not in the Email)

    Mail App: Removing drop down email address suggestions


    I'm not a big fan of the MS Mail program and don't really use it for serious stuff but somehow or other if I create a new email then as I start to enter the recipients address a whole load of suggestions will appear. I don't have any contacts in the People app so I'm not sure where these come from.

    The question is how can I clear this list so that I no longer get the suggestions?

    Mind if I make an alternate suggestion?

    We don't use email any more to share pictures. That's so 20th century.

    These days we upload pictures to cloud storage, like OneDrive or Google Photos or Dropbox etc. etc. and send the recipient links to the photos.

    This has lots of advantages, among them:

    • no need to attach photos to email
    • you can share full resolution photos that would choke an email server
    • you can easily share as many photos as you like - dozens at a time
    • share with lots of people at the same time

    For the recipient it's so easy: Just click to view or right-click to download. Even the computer-phobic (like certain members of my family) can do it.
