Windows 10: When will Microsoft ACTUALLY FIX the START MENU MESS UP THEIR UPDATES CAUSED?

Sorry to be blunt in the subject, but I've spent HOURS searching for "Why did Windows Update break my Windows 11 start menu", and NONE of the options worked. I have had third party Start Menu programs installed and uninstalled at various points in troubleshooting, done the registry edits, uninstalled, reinstalled updates, even attempted to uninstall KB500* updates I never actually had to begin with and can't find anywhere even if I wanted to download them.So, I'm after the answer to one of two questions. Either:How in the hell do I get the Classic start menu you know, the one we could RELY ON

You need to go one step further...

Settings >Personalization > Start, then click as shown by the RED square...

 

How to fix start menu after update?

I have the same problem, I tried the suggested fixes but it did not work... The only change after rebooting is that I do not see a "critical error window" open when I click on the start menu anymore. I have no idea what to do. Any brilliant idea out there?

Start Menu and taskbar messed after update

Still having this issue, a few of the updates just refuse to install on my computer. Whether my system is too obsolete at this point or certain software is (that there are no updated versions for or ones that do cost $$$) who knows, but ever since that fall
creator update went live, my start menu will not load at all. Been having to use that Cortana/search bar thing for any apps I need to be launched.

I've tried the Run Command with several suggested command scripts, registry tweaks and many other things that I've seen listed on other sites and nothing's worked. It's starting to look like the only option will be a reinstall and I've not had the time to
go through all of that nonsense and then reinstall everything else just to fix the problems brought on by forced windows updates.
