Which pen would work with Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 2?

Hi All,

I've been having a VERY difficult time identifying a pen that would work with my thinkpad...I think the lenovo support agent was also having a hard time identifying one, which is surprising, as it has a touch screen on it.

Here is the specifics of my machine:

X1 Carbon 2nd Gen (Type 20A7, 20A8) Laptop (Thinkpad)

Any advice would be most appreciated.

I found suggestion on MS forums that could work. Did you tried this?

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

Open Powershell as admin.

Type: "Get-AppxPackage *pocket* | Remove-AppxPackage" without the quotes this will unsintall pocket. You can try skipping step 3.

Type: "Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}" without the quotes.
this will reinstall all stock apps including the Windows Store

Now you should be able to install Pocket through the Windows Store.

Note: Replace *pocket* in step 2 with *extensionname* (example: pocket extension).
