Windows 10: When will the control panel be removed and all functionality migrated to the Settings app?

When will Control Panel disappear and migrate all of the settings into the Settings app?

I already clicked the link and it doesn't say if the Control Panel will disappear and migrate all of the Control Panel settings into the Settings app? When Redstone is released, is it possible that Control Panel will be replaced by the Settings app and
have Control Panel retired in future builds?

When Redstone build is released, will the Control Panel disappear and replace it with the Settings app in future builds? Is it true that the Control Panel might disappear in the Redstone build and have all the settings migrated to the Settings app.

 

Removed settings make Control Panel crash?

Hello all,

Over time, Microsoft is migrating more and more settings from the Control Panel to the Settings app of Windows 10 but this led to a few bugs in Control Panel.

For example, when opening Control Panel and searching for the following option:



Clicking this setting would make Control Panel crash in my case.

Does this happen to anyone else?
