Windows 10: When will the security update for Jan 2024 that requires a Recovery Environment on Disk 0...

It's been 2 months now since this issue occurred. My operating system is not on Disk0. It is on Disk2.That is because I want my operating system to be on my fastest drive, and that is my NVMe drive on Disk2.Disk0 and Disk1 are my regular SSD drives and have been given the Disk0 and Disk1 designation because of how motherboards and Windows label these drives.I do not want to go through all those risky steps to create a Recovery Environment on Disk0 which is just a data drive when there is already a healthy 499MB one on Disk2.Can you guys please come up with a solution that uses my healthy Rec

Devices attempting to install the January 2024 Windows Recovery Environment update ( KB5034441) might display an error related to the size of the Recovery Environment's partition. The Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) is used to repair or recover from issues affecting Windows.

Resulting from this error, the following message might be displayed.

"0x80070643 - ERROR_INSTALL_FAILURE"

Workaround: It might be necessary to increase the size of the WinRE partition in order to avoid this issue and complete the installation. Note that 250 megabytes of free space is required in the recovery partition. Guidance to change the WinRE partition size can be found in KB5028997: Instructions to manually resize your partition to install the WinRE update.

Next steps: We are working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.
