Windows 10: When will Windows 10 version 2004 become available for HP Notebooks running on Intel CPUs?

I recently got an HP Notebook 2020 edition running on an Intel i5-8265u CPU, and Windows Update prompts the update to version 2004. However, once the update popup comes, it tells me: "This PC can't be upgraded to Windows 10. Your PC settings aren't supported yet on this version of Windows 10. Microsoft is working to support your settings soon. No action is needed. Windows Update will offer this version of Windows 10 automatically when these settings are supported." If anyone has any idea when Windows will release this, any answer is helpful.

Here are some details about the notebook.
Model: HP Notebook 17-by1053dx

CPU: Intel i5-8265u
GPU: Intel UHD 620 Graphics integrated
Ram: 1x8gb DDR4

Hard Drive: 256gb SSD

Wifi: Realtek 802.11 b/g/n

All drivers are up to date.

Updating HP Notebook to Windows 2004 failure

Updated to Windows 10 2004 and at the HP screen it said, “please wait while we install a system program,” words to that effect, which turned out to be a BIOS which failed.
When Windows 10 2004 loaded the desktop had a big pink section as screenshot below, and the taskbar took a long time to load.

It looks that this notebook cannot be updated to Windows 2004?
Programs loaded slow although they seemed to work as normal.

battery not charging on my hp notebook

I see that your laptop’s battery is not charging. We would like to know, if you get a message stating plugged in not charging when hovering the mouse over the battery icon.



If you see the message plugged in not charging, I suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Press Windows Logo key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand Battery.
   
3. Right click on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery, and select
   Uninstall.
   
4. Click OK to confirm.
   
5. Restart the computer.
