Windows 10: Whenever i am inserting any pendrive or card reader in usb port of my hp laptop it is...

I am getting below error when ever i am entering any pendrive or card reader in USB port of my hp laptop. I have tried every videos available of this issue on youtube.But any of the solution isn't useful.Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers but that don't helped.Please help if some solution is there.

HC-SD card not found unless pendrive is also in port

So, I have been experiencing this very weird behaviour where if I put the SD card in the port, Windows 10 does not recognize it. But, leaving the SD in the port, if I put a pendrive in a USB port, Windows finds both the devices. This behaviour, however,
is only possible after a reboot, I mean, if I do this and then remove the SD card it will no longer be found - pendrive or no pendrive.

After browsing the internet I figured the problem must be the USB root hub but unistalling it and installing it did nothing.

Can somebody please help me?

Note 1: The computer - laptop - is an ASUS. BIOS and Card Reader drivers are up to date.

Note 2: The pendrive is always recognized.

 

Built in card reader or USB card reader not working

Installed Windows 10 but cant import photos from SD card, either inserting in slot on laptop or using card reader

into USB port.

Also the touch pad doesn't respond to tapping.

 

USB ports and memory card reader stopped working

My usb ports and memory card reader stopped working...they were fine yesterday.

Anyone have a suggestion?
