Windows 10: Whenever I attempt to open a game I get "This app cant run on your PC"

Until about two days ago I had no issues playing games on my computer but then on Friday Night whenever I attempt to open any game that isn't on the epic games store I get "This app cant run on your PC, to find a version for your PC check with the developer". This had not been an issue until Friday night. I hadn't downloaded any new programs or anything. The thing that so weird is that Epic games store still works, but I cant even open up Steam.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Attempt to open the Mail app

I would suggest you to run store apps troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Method 1:

Try running the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

Refer these steps:

Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all
option on the left panel

Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter

Method 2:

I suggest you to perform System File Checker (sfc) scan.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

To perform SFC Scan, refer to the below link:

Method 3 :

If issue persist, I suggest you to try running DISM scan by following the below steps:

1. Press Windows key, and type CMD in search. Right click on CMD and click on Run as administrator.

a. In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:

• DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

• DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Close the command prompt and restart the PC and check if it works.

If the issues still persist I would also suggest you to uninstall and install the mail app check whether it helps.
