Windows 10: Whenever I mute, or unmute my mic, my volume goes down

Hello, I hope you all are doing well. I've had a pair of Logitech Artemis Spectrum G933 headphones for a while now, maybe 3 years, but I'm not sure. They were a gift. My problem might not, and I dare say probably isn't, of the headphones. Whenever I mute, or unmute the mic/put it up, or down, my windows volume reduces by 2. For a while, it didn't do that, sort of like a hiatus, and it just started again today. I don't think it can be something with Realtek, as I don't have it installed, though I do use the audio engine Voicemeeter Potato, but even before Voicemeeter, this happened. That is whether I use F4, the Function mute button for my laptop, or the mute button on the headphones, OR the actual mic on the headphones.

TL;DR: Toggling mute for my mic lowers the Windows volume by 2, and I don't know why. If someone could help me find out why/stop this from happening if possible, I would be very appreciative.

Volume Mixer Shows Sound Muting and Unmuting

As of recently I've been experiencing some sound problems. At first it showed my volume unmuting and muting very quickly when I wasn't doing anything. I did some troubleshooting and it told me that "opening audio enhancements might help", and
gives me an option to open or to not open it. I did, and I messed about with it and fixed the problem. However, I am now experiencing the same problem in a different format: the sound keeps muting for a while then unmuting. I tried doing the same thing I did
before to no avail. The normal volume slider didn't show itself muting, so I opened up volume mixer and it showed all my apps muted. I did not do this. I unmuted them all, but Google Chrome seems to keep muting itself back and then unmuting itself, then muting
itself etc. It mutes at 1-2 second intervals. I scoured the internet for solutions, and it seems that many have been experiencing this problem. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing my sound drivers - nothing. Troubleshooting continues to show "opening
audio enchancements might help" and most internet suggestions do not work. What do I do?

 

High pitched squeeking when mic is unmuted?

Just got a pair of Roccat Kave headphones, 5.1.

When i unmute the mic, i hear this very high pitched squeeking noise, which gets worse the louser i turn up my volume. This happens when unmuting from the remote on the headset and unmuting via the windows control panel.

Running them off realtek HD audio.

Any ideas?

 

Mute/Unmute bug

Whenever I unmute the volume on my laptop, it always shows the volume to be at 16. But when I turn the volume up or down it changes back to displaying the correct volume level. For example, if my volume is at 6 I would mute the volume. Then when I unmute,
the volume will show as 16. But, if I lower the volume it would go down to 4 as it should (or 8 if I increased the volume).
