Windows 10: Whenever I open any Folder in File Explorer, the tab goes to Not Responding and crashes.

I am on a Windows 11 PC and this is making it so I cannot access any of my files. I have tried restarting both the file explorer and my computer various times as well as when I try to recover to a recent backup, I am met with a 0x80070017 error. I have two recovery dates available, one for uninstalling something called Eclipse JDK which I believe is related to a programming software I am using for a class, as well as a windows update 2 days ago.Thank you for your help, let me know if I can make any further clarifications.

Window Explorer crashing on add tab

I understand that you experience crashing every time you add a tab on file explorer. Please follow the steps and see if it fixes the crashing of your file explorer.

*Open your Task Manager.

*Click the down arrow beside the more details.

*Look for Window Explorer/File Explorer from the list under the processes tab.

*Select Windows Explorer/File Explorer, right-click on it, and select Restart.

*Open your file explorer then add the tab.

If you still have an issue, please try the steps below.

*Press Win + R

*Type %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations and press enter

*On the top of the File Explorer window click the three dots

*Click Options

*Uncheck "Show files from Office.com"

*Press the "Clear" button to clear File Explorer history

*Delete everything inside the AutomaticDestinations folder that you just opened

*Restart PC

After restarting, open your file explorer then add the tab.
