So ever since I got my computer I have never figured out why every time I would record a game or stream I would have a sort of bass-boosted style sound that comes out of the recording during my games. The thing is, it sounds normal from the speakers and only affects the recording. my microphone is usually off and not recordingI have a video of what happens to the video but I believe there were similar problems to mine already, I just could not find an answer specific to my problem.I tried snooping around Realtek sound settings but to no avail. 2. Windows 10 Update audio crackle with Bass Boost

    Hello,
Recently I upgraded Windows to the new Anniversary Update. However, when I turn on Bass Boost in the Sound settings, there seems to be a weird crackling sound when playing a video, just as if my headphones are broken or can't play enough bass. I believe this has to do with Windows, as I found a really weird thing - if I go to the settings and disable Bass Boost, then enable it again, the video plays out fine. Until I play another video - then the sound is crap again. And so, every time I play a video I have to re-enable the Bass Boost to get a decent sound.
This happens both with the default audio drivers and with the suggested Conexant drivers on the manufacturer's website.
Before I upgraded Windows there was no issue.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks Whenever I record a video on my Windows 10 laptop I end up having very bass boosted videos... :)

Whenever I record a video on my Windows 10 laptop I end up having very bass boosted videos even though my microphone was off. Is there anything I can do?

So ever since I got my computer I have never figured out why every time I would record a game or stream I would have a sort of bass-boosted style sound that comes out of the recording during my games.

The thing is, it sounds normal from the speakers and only affects the recording. (my microphone is usually off and not recording)

I have a video of what happens to the video but I believe there were similar problems to mine already, I just could not find an answer specific to my problem.
I tried snooping around Realtek sound settings but to no avail.

Model: PH315-52 Predator Helios 300 (got it around 2019?)
This issue has been ongoing for years but I finally decided to ask someone.

If anyone wants me to upload a unlisted YouTube link of the problem(video) I can do so.

    Thank you.

Whenever I record a video on my Windows 10 laptop I end up having very bass boosted videos...

No bass in my recorded videos, feels empty.

Everytime I record, and then later on listen to how the sound is, there is no bass, and it feels like the sound is coming out of a phone speaker.

I've tried with OBS, Bandicam (Full version) and also Shadowplay from Nvidia. But all of them, after I record, doesn't have any bass. It did work before, and the sound was perfect. It sounded just as it was for me.

    *Here's a video example:*

And as you can hear in the video, it sounds very empty (The explosion) and just doesn't feel like it should like when I played.

For me, when I played and recorded, it was perfect, it sounds just like it should do. But when I check to see the video, there is no bass and it feels empty.

*I hope someone understands what I mean.*

    *Feel free to ask questions*

Audio Recording Settings: (This is with Bandicam)

    - Codec: ACC

    - Bitrate: 192 kbps

    - Channels: Stereo

    - Frequency: 48000 Hz

    File Type is MP4
