Windows 10: Whenever my computer restarts, I lose recently made files, and all the add-ons/cookies to...

This started since a recent update probably from earlier this year it's hard to remember because this year has been stressful enough as is. Whenever the computer restarts I lose a the last several days of data like games off Steam, but it only goes back a few days so not all of it vanishes. All the add-ons and put on my browser of choice disappear, as do my automatically filled out login information. And all the files I downloaded and are in the Downloads folder or quick access just disappear. Any wallpapers I put up just revert to the stock wallpaper and or any new programs I install, the desktop icons disappear but the files remain if I made them a few days before a random restart.

This wasn't an issue until that last big update that I installed.

I've look around and saw issues about a KB4532693, but I can't find it when I search for files to uninstall.

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

that's all off already dude lol, I'm really surprised there is no fix for the recent files list/MRU in the file menu of programs haha

I appreciate the help, MS really needs to implement a Group Policy or a string that can do that for all programs installed
