    Where are Edge passwords saved in files?


    My PC is BSOD critical process died, no access to desktop or safe mode so I’ve been saving my files on an external hard drive via the notepad.exe command prompt and been attempting fixes to avoid a reset to no avail. I’m a bit of a silly person and I don’t have an account as such attached to my edge profile, it was conflicting with a uni account that I was using at the time so I signed everything out but I was still saving passwords to this accountless? edge profile.I managed to copy my AppData folder onto my external hard drive and I’ve seen others point to ‘appdata>local>microsoft&

    Mircosoft edge not saving passwords

    Hi,

    If you are willing to save password on Edge then you may try the steps provided below and see if it helps.

    When you visit a website that requires you to sign in, Microsoft Edge will ask if you want your user name and password remembered. The next time you visit the site, Microsoft Edge will finish filling in your account info. Password saving is on by default,
    but here's how to turn it on or off:


    • In the Microsoft Edge browser, select More actions (...)
      > Settings > View Advanced Settings.

    • Turn Offer to save passwords to On.

    MS Edge not saving passwords

    if you disabe\restart\enable back it may start working and offer to save passwords. if not next step that could help is to reset edge to factory defaults.

    For the last few days, MS Edge is not saving my passwords. My password list is empty. I don't even get a prompt to save a password anymore. How can I fix this?
