    Where can I find the resources to disable interrupt moderation on my amd 3.10 eXtensible...


    The driver is made by Microsoft so I'd figure I'd ask here. I have the CPU overhead to do it and want to see if it offers better input latency it is the USB ports that go directly to the CPU instead of the chipset.Also I have managed to get my dpc latency very low with interrupt affinity masks but I still cannot get rid of the 256-440 microsecond spikes that randomly occur I really do not know what I might be missing here are these spikes just normal behavior? I also have a lot of isr executions on core 7 with no actual isrs is this also normal? It is the only core that does that. Sorry for th

    SSD samsung evo and amd drivers

    Hi,

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    The issue could be because of the AMD drivers installed on the computer.

    Since the Samsung SSD is working fine with the Microsoft AHCI driver, I suggest you to update the AMD driver and check if that helps. To update the AMD drivers follow the steps from the article

    Update drivers in Windows 10    .

    If updating the drivers didn’t help, I suggest you to roll back the driver to previous build and check if that helps. To roll back the driver to previous build follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
    2. Select Device manager.
    3. In Device manager, expand IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.
    4. Right click on AMD SATA Controller and select
      Properties.
    5. Navigate to the Driver tab and click on Roll Back Driver.
    6. Restart the computer.

    System Interrupts windows 10

    If you run msinfo32, under Hardware Resources is a long list of Interrupts in use (IRQs). You might be able to disable one of them at a time to see if CPU usage improves to find the problem. Some you may not be able to disable and still have Windows run.
    Maybe you have some generic IRQs enabled in BIOS that you never use also, such as IRQs for COM1 or LPT1. You could disable those in BIOS.
