Windows 10: Where can i get old games to play on my windows 10 pc?

I wanting old games from the likes of ps1, ps2 and ps3 games on pc version for windows, i am running windows 10 home on my pc with nvidia geforce gtx 1050 graphics card at 8GB ram and i5 Series processor, can anyone recommend a good website for there kind of old games, like resident evil original version etc?, also is it recommended i use an xbox controller for windows games?

Playing old pc games on new laptop(windows 10)

Can't play an old pc game on my new laptop. Tried clicking on properties but next step was click on compatability tab and this tab was not there??? Tried another way to run a test program for compatibility but it didnt run. Triedin MS-DOS mode didnt
work. And tried running DOS BOX installing, it installed but didnt open to see if coukd find game and play. ???

You might be facing this issue due to the incompatibility of the game with Windows 10. So I suggest you to install the game in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Now, to install in Compatibility Mode, follow these steps:

a. Locate the executable file (.exe file) for the driver installation program.

b. Right-click the file, and then click Properties.

c. In the Package Name Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.

d. Click to select the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box, click Windows 8/ Windows 7
with which it is compatible with in the Run this program in compatibility mode for list, and then click OK.

e. Double-click the executable file to start the installation program.

Playing Old Dos Games


I have an Old Dos Game that I was able to find in bin format and was trying to figure out how to play it on Windows 10. I was trying to figure out DosBox but maybe it's just me but it's too complicated.

Anyone have any suggestions?
