Windows 10: Where can I get the .NET Framework Repair Tool for version 4.8.1?

I am supporting a customer Windows 11 that could have a corrupted .NET Framework installation. I found the .NET Framework Repair Tool here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/microsoft-net-framework-repair-tool-is-available-942a01e3-5b8b-7abb-c166-c34a2f4b612a . However that article about release v1.5 of the Tool does not include .NET Framework 4.8.1 in the set of frameworks it supports.Where can I get a more recent version of the Tool?

Do let us know how exactly you have tried to perform repair of .Net Frame work on your computer.

Let us try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to turn off, turn on the .Net framework and check if it helps.

• PressWindows + X keys from the keyboard, click on
  Programs and Features.
• Click on Turn Windows features on or off from the left pane.
• Uncheck the .Net framework feature, restart the computer.
• Follow the same as I & 2 check mark the feature, restart the computer and check with the status.

If the issue still persists,

Step 2: I suggest you to repair the framework using repair tool and check.

Method: 1

I would suggest you to check if there are any pending Windows updates available, if found any install them.

Method: 2

Disable .Net framework

I request you to Enable & Disable the .Net Framework.

• To disable this press Windows key +X.
• Click on 'Programs and features'.
• Then click on "Turn Windows features on or OFF" in the left pane.
  
• Now uncheck if the .NET framework 4.6 option is checked.
• Click on Okay.

Enable .net framework

• To enable this press Windows key +X.
• Click on 'Programs and features'.
• Then click on "Turn Windows features on or OFF" in the left pane.
  
• Now check if the .NET framework 4.6 option is unchecked.
• Click on Okay

Method: 3

.Net Framework get install along with Window installation. This issue may arise if there is some corruption in .Net Framework file while installation. I suggest you to try downloading and installing .Net Framework 3.5 manually and check if it works,
