Windows 10: Where can I install the Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter if it is not on the list for...

Hello!


Please HELP. I have been dealing with this issue for 3 hours now.


I am only trying to get the Xbox LIVE party chat to work on my computer, but getting teredo errors and upon extensive research, I have tried disabling and re-enabling through command prompts with no success.


I have never seen any 'TEREDO' adapter under Network Adapters in my device manager list, even while showing hidden devices.


When I go to 'action' 'add legacy hardware' and go through the list for Microsoft - the only ones listed are: Bluetooth Device, Generic Virtual Network Channel Device, Microsoft Hyper-V Network Adapter, Microsoft KM-TEST Loopback Adapter, and Wake on Lan pattern Install Section.


What can I do to get Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter to show on this hardware list?

Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter not Found

Hi,

It started off from teredo unable to qualify for Xbox connection.

Then, I tried following tons of suggestions through showing hidden drivers in Device manager, changing DisabledComponents value to 0.

However, I still cannot find Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter.

I tried to install it by adding legacy hardware with all ways, but there was no Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter in the list of the Microsoft Network Adapter .

 

I lost access to the microsoft teredo tunneling adapter.
