Windows 10: Where did my custom Toolbar shortcuts go in Windows 11?

Hello. In Windows 10 on all of my machines, I've created custom Toolbars that appear on my Taskbar. On one of my machines, I've upgraded to Windows 11. Although my Taskbar is there, all of my custom Toolbar icons no longer exist. How do I get them back?Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Cant find Toolbar in Internet explorer 11

I understand that the toolbar is missing in Internet explorer 11. We will help you.

• Are you facing this issue after any recent updates?
• Did you check in setting and try to check mark the command bar and check?

I suggest you to follow some steps below and check if it helps.

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Right click on top in empty space near the tabs
  and select Menu Bar and Command Bar and check if the issue is resolved.

Please post to us if the issue is resolved.

 

How to pin shortcut to start menu.

At first, you can create a shortcut in your Programs folder
(in a hidden folder C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs). The shortcut appears in
All apps list. Then you can pin it to Start menu / Taskbar as Mayank Gupta10 suggested.

The common way is to create a shortcut on the Desktop.
But the more elegant way is creating Custom toolbars.

 

Too small icon in custom toolbar windows 10

1. I make a "custom toolbar" in windows 10 (all updates installed)

2. I add some shortcuts to "custom toolbar"

3. The size of the icons in the "custom toolbar" is much smaller than in "regular toolbar" (see screenshot)
