Windows 10: Where did the opton to disable MS and 3rd-party automatic driver installation?

Before updating to 20H2, there were two places I knew to go to turn off/disable Windows from updating MS suported third-party drivers and products:

a Settings > Update and Security > Advanced Options > "Receive updates for other MS products...," which I disable; and

b right-click This PC > Properties > a tab I can't remember the name of > and disable an option to disable automatically download third-party drivers.


After updating to 20H2, however, I can no longer find the second option; right-clicking on This PC > Properties now goes to System > About.

The best I can remember is that one of the tabs had something to do with the Hardare Profiles you can set and choose.


Does anyone know how to access the second option?

I can't install any 3rd party driver (.inf)

I can't install any 3rd party driver (.inf). I'm also disable the driver signature and turn on test mode, but no result comes up. After all still I can't install any 3rd party driver. I'm using Windows 10 Pro 64bit & Gigabyte Motherboard. Please help me?

I'm also disable the driver signature verification by Powershell CMD, but can't install any 3rd party driver. Why? In the troubleshoot menu on boot, there's no come's up for disable driver signature verification, that's why I use CMD method, but no result
comes up. Please help me by give a trick or method to install any 3rd party driver. I also follow many types of tutorial from youtube. Plz help me...

Well, as usual, there are "bright sides":

The nice part is, that Z-Protector is a 3rd party patch available for it @ least & it apparently implements (automatically for the user, rather than manual registry hacking, or hacking IE's native settings) MS' suggestions for a temp. fix, which is to WHOLESALE disable ALL ActiveX controls (I just implemented it, & how I know it)!

Those self-same hacker/cracker types are doing MS a favor really by exposing these, & between MS + 3rd party patchmakers?

Well, IE should eventually see the light of day as a safe browser imo @ least... apk
