Windows 10: Where did windows store my edge bookmarks and passwords?

I'm on reddit phone app now so typing is a bit difficult.

Anyway, just now I turned on my laptop and when I opened edge, it greeted me with those edge has been updated tabs. It also asked me with the options (which I don't quite remember) of whether to sign in with my data or without my data. I chose the latter option and it turns out all my bookmarks, history and passwords are gone.

Now the reason I chose the latter is because I never signed in at all when using edge since I only used it on this particular windows/laptop so there's no reason to sync those things anyway.

I've tried doing system restore to the only point I have which is 2 days ago, edge still doesn't have those things.

So is there any path/folder which stores those things so that I cam copy them manually? I knew not so long ago when browsers still don't have these password sync capabilities, when I need to install chrome or firefox into another PC and bringing in saved history, bookmarks and passwords, all I gotta do is copy those things from the old program files folder to the new program files folder in the new PC.

All in all this a pretty dick move by the edge/microsoft team. In my whole life of using web browsers, never have I had them remove those things when they've successfully updated themselves. Oh and I didn't received any notification either telling edge that it's going to update itself and whether I should proceed with it you know, maybe for me to create some backup or things first. I don't care about whatever seamless uninterrupted update experience they always mentioned. Why the hell must they complicate things like this?

It's been a lengthy rant. Any help is greatly appreciated. There's just to much to do if I were to try and remember all that's lost. I don't want to do password forgot form on all those. Thank you.

Edge passwords are not syncing to Windows Phone 10

That is not the point. Sync is built into Edge. They are supposed to sync across devices. All my bookmark and and reading list syncs. Just user names and passwords doesn't.

• Go to Settings.
• Go to Clear browsing data.
• Click on Choose what to clear > Clear.
