Windows 10: where do I file a official complaint against microsoft forced updates?

This last update I have had it. it nearly cost me my computer when the update took 6 fracking hours to install. And it refused to let my laptop go to power save sleep mode when the lid closed.


I am homeless and rely on my laptop to stay connected with the world for EVERYTHING. Not by choice. Everything is going digital and is NOT complying with the ADA requirements.


The point is I do NOT have ready access to power and or reliable Wifi. Had no idea that it was going to take 6+ hours to install and I judged the amount of time it would take based on previous updates. So as to update when I was at a power source.


Only it took way longer than usual. I had to leave the area I was plugged in at and was unable to get to any other landline for power. Thus switching to battery.


To my horror when I closed the lid of the laptop to send it to sleep but not power off completely. It didn't it continued to use full power and I knew I was going to run out of battery charge LONG BEFORE it finished and the big prominent DO NOT TURN YOUR COMPUTER OFF OR YOU WILL DAMAGE COMPUTER. Note


THen to make things worse to keep my laptop from being destroyed by MICROSOFT GREED WHICH FRACKING ENDANGERED MY LIFE LITERALLY. I was forced to run it off a power cup hooked to my van battery. Not knowing how long it was going to take thus possibly stranding me due to too much power drain from the Van battery.


**** IS WRONG WITH YOU MICROSOFT.


Now my computer has not been running right since this update was installed. with user input commands stalling and freezing computer for period of time etc. both on login screen and within windows.


For Christ sake put a sleep/suspend install process command override for when laptops go to battery mode so we do not lose our devices due to not being able to get it to a power outlets. so that way the laptop is in no danger of running out of power before the FORCED DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL IS FINISHED.


Also STOP MANDATORY STEALTH UPDATES ON A WIFI SYSTEM, THE DATA IS GETTING CORRUPTED AND DAMAGING OUR COMPUTERS!!


Updates on wifi should always be optional because of the real risk of corrupting the data. It should always be the end user decision to whether they want to risk damage or destruction of their computers. It should never be forced on them especially when Microsoft refuses to accept responsibility for that damage.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

How do I contact microsoft about a complaint?

After a windows 10 update, my office 365 outlook app malfunctioned. I tried the support contact listed with the app. If was clear after 6 hours and 3 different tech over the phone, that they had no idea how to fix the issue. Not only that but new issues
arose as the result of their attempts. Original issues were quickly resolved through an outside computer tech company who are used to fixing problems after a windows 10 update push. But Microsoft is handling this new issue through electronic communication.
It is clear that it won't get resolved this way.

Someone suggested Microsoft.com/support as a way to file a complaint. This is for software complaints and suggestions, all electronic. I need a place to register a complaint about departments and maybe get some real help.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.
