Windows 10: Where do I get the product key for Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition?

I have recently purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator from the Microsoft Store and would like to ask how to obtain the product key for the game.

MS Flight Simulator Standard 40th Anniversary Edition

I recently purchased MS Flight Simulator Standard 40th Anniversary Edition on the Steam platform but it would not install It gets as far as the login tap and logo page with a circle going around in the right hand corner of the screen I spent 4 day working the the steam help guys to resolve this problem but they gave up and issued a refund is there any other method I could use

 

Download Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary to windows 11 pc.

I want to download digital version of Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary on to my windows 11 pc. I understand it takes hours for this to complete. Do I need to keen my monitor on all the time during download, or can it go into sleep mode whist downloading? Thank you for your help.

 

Can't find Flight Simulator Premium Deluxe in Steam

To clarify, Microsoft Flight Simulator's latest edition has been renamed as the 40th Anniversary Edition in celebration of its 40th year. Consequently, if you go to the official website at https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/microsoft-flig..., it will display this as the current version.

Now, navigate to https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/microsoft-flig... to view all the available purchase options for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Scroll down until you find the Microsoft Flight Simulator Premium Deluxe 40th Anniversary Edition. Beneath the options, you will find it offered for XBOX, PC, and Steam. Choose the Steam version and click on the "BUY NOW" button. This will redirect you to the Steam website.
