Windows 10: Where has picture viewer gone when I right click and select print?

    Where has picture viewer gone when I right click and select print?


    When I right click on an image, saved in a folder, and select print, it will automatically start printing without coming up with the print picture options, see images. How and where do I find this or get it to do what it was doing before, I don't want it to automatically print the image without checking the size etc first. Thank you

    Windows10; Microsoft Photo Viewer issues with Printing

    When I open a Picture...jpg; it opens in Microsoft Photo Viewer Application. If I go to print the picture I get "Your printer has experienced Ox8007007e an unexpected configuration problem".

    Printer prints fine from all other application and sources......

    If I don't open the Picture attachment, that is, I right click on the Attachment, select Quick Print, the picture will print....

    Why is Photo Viewer not allowing a Print job?

    Pictures crash when told to print


    Thanks for the quick response. Where has picture viewer gone when I right click and select print? :)
    It seems to have fixed it self. I set the photo viewer to be the default picture viewer yesterday and tried to print a picture (jpg) after a reboot this morning and it gave me the error so tried a different format (png) and it worked.
    I have tried using different formats and opening with different programs and they all seem to work now.
    So maybe the answer is set photo viewer as default picture viewer then restart, or open a different file type.

    Pictures won't print

    Hello,

    To print a photo, you may use the Photos app. Follow these steps:

    • Open the Photos app and then click on the picture.
    • Click the 3 dots icon and then choose Print.
