Windows 10: where is 'command bar' (home,feeds,tools, etc)

Good morning,

Just bought a laptop already installed with Windows 10 and after using it for a few hours I realized Edge doesn't have a 'Command Bar' like IE 11 on my desktop running Win 8.1.

Can anyone enlighten me on this? *Sad

Phantom RSS option in Windows

Hi Chris,

To turn on RSS feed discovery in IE , you need to add the "RSS Feed" button to your Command bar. (View>Toolbars>Command bar )

1. right click on the Command bar (you have to right click somewhere 'in between' the icons on the bar) and select the Customize>Add or Remove Commands from the context menu.





2. From the left hand side list, find and select "RSS Feeds" (orange color) and then click the "Add" button,





Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to position the RSS Feeds command on your command bar. Close to save your changes.

From now on ONLY when you visit a web site that has RSS Feed (syndications) you will see the RSS Feed command bar button change from Grey to Orange. Click on the button to display a list of feeds that are on that site and click your selection.

where is tools bar internet explorer 11

"Tools" is on the Menu Bar. Right click on the Title Bar and check the Menu Bar.

 

UPDATE: Consider this post solved. I just discovered that a 'Command Bar' doesn't come with Edge.
