    I've been having some audio issues for a while now. Whenever there was a Windows update my headset would have static whenever sound is played.

    I've tried a lot of solutions but none have worked.

    Currently I have 2 (I don't know what they're called) sound cards(?) which are: 'HD Audio Device' and 'NVIDIA HD Audio'

    I thought maybe having both of them Enabled was causing the problem so I disabled one of them...nothing changed...then I did both and still nothing changed.

    How? If I disabled both 'HD Audio' devices where is the sound coming from? Also, the static was still there.

    Lastly, is there a conflict between NVIDIA HD Audio and Windows 10? Would switching to Realtek be a possible solution?

    In researching this problem I've found articles about NVIDIA/Windows conflicts but they're from 3 - 5 years ago and I also found an article discussing a possible NVIDIA/Realtek conflict (2022).

    Any assistance would be appreciated!
