Windows 10: Where is MY folder located that contains MY pictures that I use for the desktop slideshow?

This is a recurring people for many people and reading past posts going back as far as 2017, the correct instructions are no longer available. We have "personalized" our desktop with a slideshow of OUR pictures stored in OUR folder in one of the locations that WE specify. Suddenly, Win10 PRO renames and moves this folder. The folder is hidden somewhere on the hard drive. I used to be able to find directions on how to locate the folder that contained MY pictures that I set up as a slideshow on MY computer, but those directions are now gone from the Internet. I would like to be able to find that

I understand the inconvenience that you are unable view the photos in slideshow as it repeats after few photos and need to know “How can I change this to show a continuous and non-repeating slideshow?”. We will help you to

I suggest you to follow the below steps:

Step 1: If the photos folder is located on the desktop, try to create another folder and copy all the content to the newly created folder and add this folder for slideshow and check.



Step 2: Try to create new folder if different location and copy all the content to the newly created folder in different location and add this folder for slideshow and check.

Windows 10, Picture Slideshow on Desktop Background, quickly locate individual picture file

My picture slideshow as background to my desktop is great. However, I'd like to be able to click on the picture and locate its file name so that I can do other things with that picture (e.g. posting on social media, or deleting it if it's a dud). Having
thousands of pictures, being able to immediately locate it would be a boon.

Would MS consider this suggestion?

 

Picture User Folder vs Library Picture Folder / Add to User folder

Form the issue description, I realize that you are trying to view your pictures in the default pictures library. To do so, you have to change the location of the folder that contains your pictures to the default pictures library folder.



To view your pictures in the default pictures library, I suggest you to follow the steps below.

• 
  Right-click on the default Picture folder
  and click on Properties.
  
• 
  Navigate to Location tab.
  
• 
  Click on Move…. and select the folder that contains your pictures and click on
  Apply and then click on Ok.
