Windows 10: where is open office download

I am trying to download open office. My download is intercepted by officesuite. Is that the gangster version.?

I cannot open any of my Office files; Word, Excel, Powerpoint

You can open old Office files with these settings | PCWorld

Maybe the steps here will let you open your old office files?

What happens when you try to open documents?



I suggest you to un-install and re-install Microsoft Office Starter 2010 and see if you are able to open the documents.



Try the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open run Command
  
• 
  Type appwiz.cpl and hit enter
  
• 
  Look for Microsoft office starter 2010 right click on it and click on un-install.
  
• 
  Re-install Microsoft office starter and check.
  

Note: If you do not have Microsoft office starter 2010 installed you may install and check if you can open the documents.
