    Where is the capture screen when I click print screen?


    I have used the print screen button to take a screenshot many times. Normally, when I click the print screen button, the capture screen will appear, and I am able to select a specific section of my screen to capture. Today, when i went to do so, the screen did not appear and instead a one drive notification appeared. I tried again, and this time I did not get a notification or capture screen. I went to look through my files and found that it had started a new screenshot folder Screenshots 1 and took my whole screen. Again, as a person who used the screenshot button very often this was extrem

    Screen Capture software

    Hi,

    Upon checking on your concern, we have found a suggestion that may help you take a screenshot of the dropdown menu using the Snipping tool. Please follow the steps below:

    • Launch Snipping tool.
    • Right-click the menu you wish to take a screenshot.
    • Press CTRL + Fn+ Print Scrn.
    • Once you've already taken the print screen of the menu, you may try using the snipping tool and check if it will be able to capture the drop down menu.

    Print Screen, black screen appears

    See previous comments - "Print Screen" and the Snip Tool" works on screens that are not from the Internet!!! Again, click on Print Screen (of my desktop), go to Paint, open a new screen, Paste an image of my desktop (captured from Print Screen).. and also I can use the snap tool (of an area within the paint screen). That is, the Pasted image does show my desktop and icons... and I can use the snap tool... (and no black screen from the above steps).

    Hi, LisaFagan

    You can take a screenshot by following the steps below. The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard and saved in the Screenshots folder inside your Pictures folder.

    PC:

    1.- Configure on your screen what you want to appear in the capture.

    2.- Press Windows key + Print to capture the image.

    Tablet:

    1.- Configure on your screen what you want to appear in the capture.

    2.- Press Windows key + volume down button to capture the image.
