Windows 10: where is the close/ "x" button on the alt tab menu on windows 11

so i recently updated to windows 11 a few days ago from windows 10, and im used to closing applications in the alt tab menu, as it shows all the programs in one menu, so today i tried doing that in windows 11 and i just noticed that the close or red "x" button that closes programs on the alt tab menu is missing, is this a feature of windows 11? is there any way i can bring it back? or is my windows 11 corrupted or there's something wrong with my operating system

Hello, recently moved from mac to windows and one of the most annoying things i'm facing is when i'm trying to switch tabs with "Alt+Tab" but then changes my mind and want to stay on current tab, I press esc to close the menu but instead it just acts as me pressing "Enter" and switches me to the second tab, is there any way to cancel this behavior and make esc work as it's name suggests "Escape/Exit that alt+tab menu"? Sorry if i chose wrong topic category

Sub question, is there anyway to change what key open the start menu? sorry i know i should post this on different post

 

Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
What do you think?

The Esc key does not close menus or tabs;

To close tabs, press together the keys: Alt + F4;

And to open the start menu press the Windows key;
