Windows 10: Where is the "Connect" app? Because i installed wireless display in optional features setting

Connect app is missingi uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted laptop many times and until today still not fixed

MS connect app not available after installing wireless display from optional features

I have installed wireless display from optional features of windows settings but the connect app is not installed. There is no other way to get the connect app. I have tried uninstalling wireless display and then reinstalling several times but to no avail. Is there a fix for this?

Hi Dave,

i am trying to cast my android phone to my Windows 11 Dell.

The Connect app does not come with the regular set up, the feature needs to be downloaded and is called Wireless Display, as i have found on the internet. My phone does not detect the laptop as a display because this feature is missing.

May I know what is your version of Windows 11? On devices running Windows 11 version 22H2 and newer, the settings are simply called "Connect to a wireless display". That is to say, Connect app is no longer available in the latest versions of Windows 11. If you're running an earlier version of Windows, you can launch the Connect app by entering "connect" in the search box on the taskbar, and selecting Connect in the list of results: Screen mirroring and projecting to your PC - Microsoft Support
