    Where is the Registry Editor documentation?


    Where is the documentation for this stuff? I was just messing with some of the colors for fun, but I don't know what most of this stuff is and can't find any official docs on it. I mean some of them are obvious but I don't know what "button face" is for example.

    Registry Editor Freezes !!

    I HAD TO DO A CLEAN INSTALL STARTING W/MICSOFT 7 PRO. ALSO HAD TO DO A LOT OF FINGER CROSSING!

    AND WHEN IT UPDATES IT WENT TO THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS 10. 1511_10586.71 INSTEAD OF THE BUILD 10586.0. 10586.0 WAS THE BUILD THAT HAD THE REGISTRY EDITOR FLAW.

    Where is the Registry Editor documentation?

    Registry Editor

    Maybe this is a better explanation of what I want to do. right click a document brings up a properties of that document. I want to change the present 'Opens with' to 'Registry Editor' file. It should not be that difficult.

    All this does is insert this into the registry:
